I'm fed up. I hereby submit my most respectful request that the global media come together in a show of solidarity and make a decision, once and for all, on how to pronounce "Al Qaeda."

Is it "All - Kay-da"?
Is it "All - Kie-da"?
Is it "All - Kie-ay-da"?

Maybe we should put John Ashcroft in charge of this one. A military tribunal put to the task of foreign pronunciation might be kind of fun.
