Yes, that was possibly the most tragic blunder I've ever seen. Incredible.
Anyone seen Ghost World? We saw it last night. Really really good. It has Steve Buscemi and that chickie form American Beauty. Thora Birch, I think. Anyway, it's one of the best movies I've seen recently. Also, The Royal Tenebaums is another must-see. That's Jen's Movie Review for now.
So we went to see the movie at 10pm over at Washington State University (whose initials, WSU, have morphed into the phonetically interesting word Wazzu, which is what most everyone calls WSU). When the movie was over, we were not so overjoyed to see that four inches of wet snow had fallen in 2 hours. Thanks, winter. Anyway, we made it back home and watched with typical midwest curiousity as our friend, an Idaho native, put chains on his truck tires like it was nothing it all. Paul and I have been pretty freaked out that "putting the chains on" is a typical car maintenance thing around here. Actually, it terrifies us and our little Honda.
