I've been spending a lot of time lately looking for academic-oriented stock photos to use on some of my sites. The contents of every "academic" photo collection are as follows:
50% of photos feature two students sitting side by side looking over a shared book. One student is pointing at the book.25% of photos feature a student sitting in a library, hovering over a stack of important-looking books and papers. The students appears to be in the throes of deep contemplation and/or study.The remaining 25% of photos are of a single student sitting in a classroom, head cocked inquisitively to one side, with a pencil or pen end poised at the side of the mouth.
