So break is over and I'm back in the hectic world of academia. Jen's progress on 20 page paper due tomorrow: 16 pages. Paul's progress: 26 pages, done, all must scoff at him. Students who missed class today: 4. Of those 4, number who came to the final minute of class: 1. Excuse: "I just woke up." Density of fog since Friday: disconcerting (I can see a couple hundred feet, I think, and the sun? What sun?) Number of plane tickets purchased for trip to Ohio: zero. Annoyance level of at least one parent over this fact: 10+ and rising. Jen and Paul's self-imposed deadline for purchasing tickets: 24 minutes from now. Chances of actually purchasing tickets: slim. Chances of minor arguments over unpurchased tickets: high. Stay tuned.
