Yay Kate! Happy engagement! As a Christmas gift and all...you ought to describe the surprise factor involved here...as in total surprise or semi-surprise, down-on-one-knee surprise...by the way I'm at Paul's house as I post this, and there is a disturbing plethora of holiday desserts available. More desserts than necessary, I fear. Also, Paul turned 27 today. I'm not trying to trump your engagement story, but let's all remember he's a near-Jesus type guy, Christmas birthday and all that.
