Yesterday we registered for wedding gifts at a retail store. To register, we had to sit in the store's special "bridal room," where we were interrogated mercilessly for personal information, then handed a scanner so we could zap the items we coveted at heart's content. The informational packet they gave me was made of frosted plastic and sealed with aid of a piece of heart-shaped velcro.
