Color me unsurprised. It appears Northeast Ohio-based First Energy is responsible for August's massive blackout. Anyone who's ever lived around here knows that the power system is laughable. The lights on our street will use any excuse -- winds over 5 mph, heat, cold, small woodland creatures, neighborhood children, general malaise -- to cease functioning. This news does, however, give me a weird sense of satisfaction. Now I have even more reason to hate the electric company. Wedding proofs have arrived! I'm working on a little slide-show do-hickey to put up here. Soon, I promise.
