Hello! I'm in Salem, Massachusetts right now visiting friends I haven't seen in ages. It's been 10 years since the last time I was in the Boston area, and I'd forgotten how much I love it up here.
In the past month, I've also been to Raleigh, North Carolina and Tallahassee, Florida, with just a little Cleveland thrown in to ensure that I really appreciate places with some combination of decent weather, close proximity to an ocean, and excellent public transportation (just Boston on the latter, really). I suspect the conversation was a bit one-sided
Right now, I'm watching a press conference with the President of the United States and Tony Blair, and a reporter just asked ol' Dubya if he understands the gravity of the situation in Iraq.
Bush said that he does, in fact, understand, replying, "I talked to the families who died."
I so did not vote for this man.
